We remade the opening credits of The Office. It went viral, and CTV News Edmonton showed up to cover it.
Sometimes the best marketing isn’t marketing at all. It’s just a shop full of people who like to laugh, a camera, and a shot list borrowed from one of the most iconic sitcom intros ever made.
That’s exactly what happened at here Nothing But Tires. Our team recreated the opening sequence of The Office, shot for shot, using our own faces and our own Edmonton landmarks — and CTV News, and Global News Edmonton thought it was worth a story of its own.

CTV wasn’t the only ones who wanted to talk about it. Our owner, Jordan Maruschak, joined The Courtney Theriault Show on 880 CHED to chat about the video, why it took off, and what it’s like running a tire shop that also happens to make sketch comedy on the side.

How It Happened
For over a year now, we’ve been putting out an Office-style skit every single Thursday, starring our own team, across all of our social channels. It all started with our very first intro skit, a shot-for-shot homage to The Office’s famous cold open, swapping Scranton for Edmonton and paper sales for tire changes.
So, about a year later, we decided to go back and redo it — same concept, same energy, revisited with everything we’d learned since. Turns out revisiting our own origin story was newsworthy enough that CTV News stopped by to see what all the fuss was about.
